There are two different models for testing patients with Bristle and as a practitioner, you can use one or a hybrid of both models:
- In-Office Testing
- Patient Referrals
In-Office Testing
With this model, you will have test kits on hand to use with patients during their appointments.
The steps as a provider for this model are as follows:
- Order test kits from Bristle to stock in office
- Collect patient saliva sample at beginning of appointment
- Register patient sample in your Provider Account
- Send saliva sample back to Bristle laboratory for processing
- Receive access and view patient results in your Provider Account
Note: under this model, you will automatically get access to patient results after registering the sample in your account.
Patient Referrals
With this model, patients will order tests directly from Bristle and complete the testing on their own. Bristle will provide you a discount code to share with patients ordering a test and you will receive commission for each order placed.
The steps for this model are as follows:
- You refer a patient to order a Bristle test
- Patient purchases a Bristle test online at www.bristlehealth.com
- Patient receives a test kit at home and completes testing including sample collection, registration, and submission of sample to Bristle’s laboratory for processing
- Patient receives access to results in their own Bristle account
- Patient shares their results with you via your Provider Account or PDF
Note: under this model, your patient will need to manually share their results with you as their provider.
