Guide on how to track sample status and access results.

You can track the status of any patient sample that has been registered in your Bristle account within the Patient Sample Tracker.
You can track the status of any patient sample that has been registered in your Bristle account within the Patient Sample Tracker.
 
To navigate to the tracker, within your Bristle account you can either select:
  • Patient Tracker in the navigation bar at the top, or
  • Patient Tracker & Test Results from the home screen
 
Status updates in the tracker will show when samples were registered, when they arrived at Bristle’s laboratory for processing, and when test results are ready after processing is completed.

  1. Each sample and unique barcode is associated with a patient name.
  1. Use the search bar to filter based on patient name or barcode.
  1. The current status will show when a sample is registered, processing, or completed (results ready for viewing).
    1. When the sample has completed processing, you can click directly into the “Results Ready” button for a given patient to navigate to their results.
  1. Use the “Register New Sample” feature to quickly register an additional sample for a given patient.
  1. Use the “Share Results” toggle between Yes and No to change a patient’s access to their results. Refer to the Sample Registration Instructions in this guide for a description of each setting. If the toggle to Share Results is changed from No to Yes, you will be asked to provide & confirm the patient’s email address so Bristle can email them with a link to access their own Bristle dashboard with their results.
